Ê The Tao(ism): (or Wisdom of Pooh) Ñ Download by » Lao-tse A gentle story explaining all sorts of deep philosophical and spriritual thoughts Pooh is great in asking questions we humans are often too scared to ask I fully support this book.
It came at the time of struggle and it amused, distressed me The child story and those of Tao teachers are intertwined and offer two different images of the same topic.
An engaging topic brought to life by our childhood favourites It brings a different thought process and I thoroughly enjoyed reading and highly recommend.

I ve always loved this book Must stop giving my copy away I never read the Winnie the Pooh books as a child but I did read this as a young adult I remember it striking a chord back then but upon rereading it, it s a very basic introduction to Taoism but a very cute one at that, now that I m reading the Pooh books to my daughters For that, it gets 4 stars Otherwise, maybe just 3 Or something like that Now, where s that Woozle When I was a little girl, my father read the original Winnie the Pooh book to me as I sat on his lap That was decades ago I loved Pooh Bear then, and still do Now that I m in my 60 s, the simplicity and wisdom of the Winnie the Pooh stories speaks to me in a special way I highly recommend this book The character of Pooh Bear has always been a very wise soul There is much to be learned from him, in so many ways.
This book has helped me to better understand what Taoism teaches By putting it in very simple everyday terms, this work clarified the somewhat cryptic writings of Lao tze, etc.
The How Of Pooh The Tao Of Who The Tao Of Pooh In Which It Is Revealed That One Of The Worlds Great Taoist Masters Isnt Chineseor A Venerable Philosopherbut Is In Fact None Other Than That Effortlessly Calm, Still, Reflective Bear A A Milnes Winnie The Pooh While Eeyore Frets, And Piglet Hesitates, And Rabbit Calculates, And Owl Pontificates, Pooh Just IsAnd Thats A Clue To The Secret Wisdom Of The Taoists I enjoyed the book, and it taught the principles of Taoism well My only complaint is that it seems the author has a grudge against scholars He goes off on rants about them in a kind of aggressive manner If you can sift through the authors biases, you find it is a good book, with good information.
This book is an excellent introduction to Taoism It s also afun book to read as a long time follower of the Tao I will read this again
